J-Ning's Development - Almost 22 months

J-ning is almost 22 months. In another 2 months, she will be an official 2 yrs old toddler n now she is going thru the terrible 2 stage which end up me from a lady wif patience to an auntie screaming almost everyday till i think our neighbour next door got used to my screaming. Despite of this , she has made tremedous improvements in her speech n her memory boomed up like lightning. So the morale of the story is to make use of the first 3 yrs of a child to allow her to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

• Now she is able to recite some simple tang shi wif my help.
• Able to talk in sentences but still need some improvements in sight words like the , there, a, an etc
• Able to pronouce 3 callibre words like ambulance...
• read a simple story book wif help but skipping some of the words
• Speak chinese pretty ok ( well i can understand what she is saying)

As for motor skill;

• She is able to take out her pyjamas by herself
• Learning to eat by herself but sometimes, i dun allow her to eat her porriage by herself cos she will cause a great havoc ( I m an inpatient mummy)
• Able to draw a straight line n do some basic coloring even though she always color out of the lines.

Things to improve;

• I have a hard time on her potty training.. despite how interesting i made , she just refuse to sit on her potty. I guess i might have to change the potty.
• Cultivating her interest in coloring more precisely.
