J-Ning's Development - 14.5months

J-Ning is back to her energetic ways now.. Thanks to all the concerns mummies.... During her diarrhea period of time, her diet has been very much changed from the usual porriage to oats, potatoes- manage to convince her to eat it cos she hated it i think cos it is a bit starchy. It helps greatly n now she is still taking it cos she loves them now. There is a new food that i have also introduced to her: Parsnip- This belongs to the carrot family. It looks a bit like radish but its not but once it is cooked, it taste very much like "Huai san"-Chinese yam. Sweet n clear. I think this is not commonly found in singapore as for here it comes in season. You can check up on the web for this root. Her development wise: I have been creating a lot of new flashcards for her like:

1. Parts of the House: Living room, entry, dinning room, toilet ... once she is more familar , i will be pasting it on the doors of the respective rooms n areas.
2. Nursery Rythms: Little Jack Horner, Jack n Jill.
3. New actions: Sneezing, coughing, squatting, whispering
4. couplets : empty cup, full cup, long hair, short hair
5. Things at the playground- Sphere, Turtle sand table, sprinklers etc...
6. Christmas - Christmas dinner, christmas lights, presents, candy cane, snowman

She is too fast for me n now i have to keep on updating new flashcards to keep up with her speed.

Now she can understand instructions pretty well n try to act like a small adult helping in some simple household choices but most of the time, it ended up extra work for me, so i have decided to invest in a toy vaccum cleaner n some culinary set for her to keep her busy.
