Show off time! - Exactly 13 months old

Here are J-Ning's latest developments:
  1. Taking a comb n comb her hair - This needs some tuning cos she cant comb it properly yet.
  2. Saying scared scared - She says "cad cad" n pating her chest whenever the rubbish truck is here cos she is scared of the sound that the truck make.
  3. This one is her favourite: whenever she hears the door open, she will look for her pair of red shoes.
  4. Trying to cover her water bottle once she doesnt want to drink water anymore.
  5. Understanding some chinese words - parts of her body like ,耳,牙,( she knows how to say it out) 脚,手,头, 舌,眼。( the rest, whenever i ask her where is it, she will touch for me to see) also 奶奶-she can say it with an english accent- very funny.
  6. She will keep "hitting" her head to tell me that she is full n feels very irritated.
  7. She knows how to take simple instructions like:
  • Picking up her green sock on the floor
  • Putting her shape blocks in a box
  • Asking her to squat n stand up.

Her favourite word up to now is "Up", whenever she wants to get up, or she wants things to be picked up, she will say up! up!

Her speciality is trying to imitate what we are doing n flipping story books she knows how to read them n pointing to the pictures.

Favourite book: " Noddy, Look n learn colours, numbers" , she will show me by waving ( Cos the front cover is a Noddy waving n i have always taught her to wave to Noddy before we start reading the book) n pointing to the book shelf when she wants to read it.

I was very surprised that one morning, she saw her daddy taking a pair gloves n she said "Gove", "Black!" cos i have never taught this word b4. I guess she could have learnt it from the Tweedlewink DVD.

Favourite game: "Hide n seek" She will like to hide behind the sofa n thought we have not seen her n will cluckle very very loudly when we find her.

Now she is learning to stack up higher blocks but she tends to get very impatient after a while . I guess i will have to put in more time n effort into training her patience.
