Omega 3-Essential Fatty acids
Extracted from " Why cant my child behave":
A brain is composed mainly of fat and neurotransmitters need high quality fats in order to function well. Dt. Alexandra Richardson of Oxford University , one of the reseachers studing the EFA( Essential fatty acids) extensively, put it bluntly: "If the brain does not have the right fats, it will not be working right."
Have a salmon?
Salmon has the reputation of being an excellent source of essential fatty acids but only if it feeds on sea life that is rich in them. Most salmons sold today is farm raised, and fed of fish meal, poultry by-products and grains. Coloring is added to the feed togive the fish their traditional pink color. The coloring, astaxanthin and canthaxanthin, are not believed to be a problem for most people, but is misleading for the consumer who believes the salmon will provide important fats.
Easy way to obtain your EFAs.
Look for a high quality fish oil or cod liver oil, one that has been purified to pharmaceutical grade. It should not smell "fishy" or give you indigestion.

Most children n adults fear the smell of cod liver oil, so do i but unfortunately J-ning cant escape from the fate of taking it.. I fear smelling her mouth whenever she takes them.=p.
