About here!

Many ask me how is my feeling going back to Singapore and do i miss here? Well, i can ask there pros and cons here and there.

I flew here 5 months pregnant wif little J-Ning. Stayed in my old aprtment at Res Mimosas. It was a little kampong style of living , some might like it and some might not. We had our sunflowers grown there., Ad Hoc BBQs especially during summer, had lots of cherries till i grew a little tired of it. Friendly neighbours like Dawn who always will "report" to me in the afternoons and she does help us out a lot even when we moved to our new apartments . and such... Now most of them have moved out of that kampong already. A lot of walking.. During spring , can see otters in a little pong just outside the junction before hitting the residence. The boat! My favourite place. I usually will walk to the "boat" in fact its a sports "centre" where there is a piscine, stadium, a tennis court, rudby field. Stayed there from June 07 to April 08.

Also experience the giving birth here. It sucks!

Then moved to Res Olympiades after we came back from CNY in Sg, another type of experience, cos J-ning is then about 5 months plus . This place can be considered as the place where huge changes of her developments can be seen which can be funny, exciting, and make u real pissed off. From a young baby to now a 26 months toddler! Her Cheeky smiles and laughs, actions, behaviours, her imagination powers, her caring for younger bbs. Over here, we get to know friends like Loh Eng Chow family who is in Singapore now, Chong Kok Fong family... From there we had a couples of steamboats, pizzas , potluck sessions together. The aprtment was bigger n it is a good place to have gatherings of cos not comparing to the houses.

I also have more time to focus on J-Ning's education. Doing from flashcards to art and craft things.

Then we had our first vechicle, the little microcar, san license to drive which serves us well for quite a while, it died on us abt half a year b4 we moved here.

In this place, i learnt a lot of things which i think can never be found if i am still in Singapore now. Also lots of nice friends, like, Shannen and the little cheeky Jayden didi, Cindy -Charlyne - a little nice girl and Shin Wee- always wif a sunshine smile , Ching yen- her little smart Yu Xin , Selene- Sweet little Charis who's now promoted to a big sister , and so many more u can name.

Over here, we have to self taught ourselves not to be too dependant on doctors.. cos it is unlike Singapore where u can easily have a 24/7 clinic around the estate.

Limitation of foods here, cos i am pretty lazy to ask pple to get food from Bordeaux so i will usually make do of the vegetables here. Unless, there is someone going there, then will ask them to long bang vegetables=)

I also get to learn to cook a lot of desserts, cusines, kuehs which i think i will not be doing if i am in SIngapore cos its so convenient to get food. Seeking advises from cooking experts and trying it on my own. And Mr. James Chew will always be my customer trying out foods regardless yummy or not=p.

In this place, there is no such thing as a MAID. So we have to depend on ourselves to do everything. So can be a bit sian and tiring at times.

Also the weather is something i will never never forget.. Especially the freezing cold days... U dun even feel like steping out of your apt or even sitting on the toilet bowl.

But despite of these, i have to admit that it is an experience here that is very hard to come by and i will never forget=)
